Artist Bio

     Katie Kuntz is an illustrator and designer who began her career as a freelance graphic designer, working alongside non-profits and small businesses within her city creating print material and apparel. She studied Illustration for Publication and Animation at SCAD, and double minored in Drawing and Art History. While at SCAD, she began a SaaS marketing internship where she continued her design and branding education by creating incentive, social media and email campaigns as well as product designs. As a fine artist, Katie’s work has been shown in galleries across the United States, including Beeple Studios in SC.

 

     Katie's personal style can be best described as “macabre.” She is most interested in digital narrative illustration, and draws inspiration from folk tales and scary stories, as well as her own personal experiences and nightmares. Katie enjoys visually exploring the depths of her own emotions, because she believes that what lives within our hearts is something that completely connects all of us humans together.
